What makes CookinPellets the best smoking pellets available?
16 years ago we bought a pellet grill and while using the grill with the manufacturers pellets, we found that the overall experience was a bit less than expected. We took matters into our own hands and decided to build a small wood pellet mill to experiment with different wood pellet combinations. The rest is history.
For over 6 years now, CookinPellets have been a top selling brand on Amazon, Highest Rated and #1 Best Seller across the world. We’re trusted customers across the globe, just check out our reviews on Amazon and see for yourself.
Where are CookinPellets sourced and manufactured?
CookinPellets are woods sourced directly from the US for that authentic American smoking flavour. Oak is sourced outside of the US and is FSC certified. Our pellets are manufactured from 100% hardwoods with no additives or fillers.
Do the CookinPellets wood pellets leave much ash residue?
CookinPellets products produce very little ash and when comparing to others are considerably better quality because we use the best hardwood available and take only the woods from the core. For example: after burning through a 18kg bag you may have about 1 inch deep if you dumped the ash in a coffee cup
Can CookinPellets be used in place of wood chips?
Yes you can absolutely use CookinPellets instead of woods chips. Typically wood chips are soaked in water prior to smoking, but with pellets there is no need to soak. If you get a smoking tube they work great.
Can I blend different CookinPellets wood pellets together?
Yes of course you can experiment with different blends of wood pellets. Some of our customers have blended Hickory, Cherry, Hard Maple & Apple and it’s worked out great. Other customers have mixed in hickory chips to add a slightly different texture.
